M2COMM announced the launching of a series of "smart new retail"  plans with Eink and Simple Mart Retail. These plans are expected to be gradually introduced into the Meilianshe stores in the year (2024). With a total investment of more than NT$450 million, the project will become the first retail channel in Taiwan to implement electronic shelf labels in all stores.

The retail service industry usually starts with local consumer life needs, so the retail application services developed in various regional markets are highly localized, and at the same time, they also shape the ecosystem of the retail service industry in various regional markets. Especially at this point in time, various new terms such as "new retail", "super retail", "technological retail", and "unmanned retail" have been introduced, reflecting the urgency of the global retail service industry facing digital transformation.

Currently, Yunchuang's electronic shelf labels and IoT solutions are available in retail stores in France, Germany, Belgium, etc. In the future, convenience stores in Taiwan will also try to introduce them.

ELSA smart e-label system is a complete solution developed by M2COMM, including e-label, base station, and cloud software. It has the advantages of automatic synchronous update, energy saving, eco-friendly, etc., which can replace traditional paper label.
